Charles Rampey, P.E.

Charles Rampey provides energy-related expertise to manufacturers in the implementation of energy assessments, technical assistance and project management and has been an energy consultant to SCMEP since 1999.

For over 30 years, he held a variety of positions in the energy industry —initially in design and fieldwork and later in marketing and corporate management. His specialty is energy strategy and implementation of energy efficiency technologies. His skillful in-depth assessments and analysis of energy consumption help his manufacturing clients make positive changes in energy efficiency and utilization.

Charles Rampey has been involved in the delivery of training and assessments directly related to energy programs (funded in part with DOE/EERE/OIT and ITP moneys). He has attended ITP-sanctioned training in:

• Steam Systems (SSAT)
• Process Heating Systems (PHAST)
• Pump Systems (PSAT)
• Motor Systems (MotorMaster+4.0)

He is a Professional Engineer (PE) registered in South Carolina, with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He is an active member of several energy-related professional organizations.
