Large Energy Users Grant Program
This grant by the DOE and SCEO is targeted to assist the 75 large
energy-using manufacturers in South Carolina and is administered
by the SCMEP. The funding provides for energy assessments, training,
and assistance to improve energy efficiency. A Large Energy User
is a South Carolina manufacturers whose combined electricity and
gas usage exceeds $2Million/year. Contact us if you qualify.
This project will conclude September 30, 2007 .
Industries of the Future Grant Program
The Department of Energy (DOE), through the South Carolina Energy
Office (SCEO), has provided funding to the South Carolina Manufacturing
Extension Partnership (SCMEP) to create a formal, sustainable Industries
of the Future program for South Carolina. This grant is used
to promote awareness of programs and services provided by DOE’s
Office of Industrial Technology and to provide assistance to the
following industries: metalcasting, chemicals, forest products,
and mining.
This grant is also providing partial funding for the South Carolina
Energy Symposium, being held October 16, 2006 in Columbia, South
Carolina. For

Historical Grant Projects

energy assessments, and outreach to educate industrial users on
